who we are

Increasing data penetration, decreasing cost of smart devices and introduction of payment options like mobile wallet and payment banks are bringing transformational changes in India.

Large number of wireless mobile subscription is radically shifting the way Government reaches to citizens with public services and vice versa. Growing data consumption is bringing major changes in consumer behaviour of internet economy. Access to information, on demand and real-time, is bringing more power to common man.  Along with metros and towns, Rural India will reap its benefit, during next five years.

InGreens, founded by a group of IIM graduates and seasoned professionals, wants to play a role in this space with SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud) solutions. InGreens is recipient of ‘Rural innovation fund’ from NABARD. Having incubation support from STEP IIT Kharagpur, it has also bagged India’s one of the first Mobility based Government services delivery project, from a state Government.

Seasoned Professional Team

Diversely experienced and dedicated team of executives have joined hands to develop InGreens, a rural entrepreneurial business model to serve India’s largest consumer class, Villagers. Management and Technology Graduates from leading institutions including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, FMS, TISS, IBS and TIFR with adequate professional experience with leading brands, have decided to transform the way rural India is served with products and services with technology managed parallel distribution network.

Early on the Curve

Smartphone apps as tools to minimize information asymmetry, vernacular UI to ease mobile first internet users and virtual wallet as easy transaction option, together these three are going to convert unbanked rural population into the largest set of domestic consumer class between 2016-2020. People staying in villages including farmers account for almost 70% of India’s population. InGreens will aggregate farmer’s demand of production input as well as villager’s demand of consumer goods and services.

Focused Implementation

InGreens core team has shown planned and focused approach from day one with very clear product development timelines. They are effectively and efficiently managing a robust Government project, spread across the state for last two years. There is major synergy value between its two focus areas, rural m-Governance and rural m-Commerce. Two verticals are complementary to each other. Govt. initiatives will drive the growth of m-Gov. and consumer behaviour will drive m-Com.

our projects

As one of the first few Indian Mobile Governance start-ups, we re-engineer traditional government processes with technology interventions and bring rewarding benefits for both for citizens and Govt. Focus areas are Agriculture, Health and Education, three primary pillars of rural development.

While working on Rural and remote mobility space, we found our next orbit of growth in Assisted, Rural e-Commerce. InGreens is bringing unorganized rural business entities into an organized mobile marketplace for India’s largest consumer class, Villagers. Aggregating demand from rural hinterlands, enabling mobile payment and supplying with cost effective Omni-channel distribution is challenging.

We treat it as an opportunity!

Rural m-Governance

With an aim to empower farmers with scientific farming knowledge, success stories, latest Agri innovations and on demand crop protection solutions on the field, InGreens has developed and delivered India’s first Agri G2C project for a state government. The project got selected as most beneficial and replicable project in other states during NeGP-A national conference.

Rural m-Commerce

Tier II & tier III towns are significantly contributing to the growth of Indian e-Commerce. A major chunk of expected 503 million Internet users by 2017 will be from rural India. InGreens is developing an m-Commerce marketplace to aggregate both rural demand (Farm inputs and consumer products/ services) and rural supply (Farm output).

Rural-Business Productivity

Increasing per capita income and changing purchasing pattern in rural India is creating scope of growth for all sectors. While rural supply chain management is challenging, keeping track of distribution up to last mile retailer is difficult. InGreens rural enterprise productivity App, a mobility based solution, can allow FMCG/ Agri-input firms to track product movement beyond distributor.

"Wealth is at the bottom of the pyramid! InGreens is enabling farmers to produce more, process more and market right to earn more. While higher rural disposable income will boost up domestic demand, InGreens assisted mobile marketplace will enable villagers to spend wise. "
